Director of Nursing and Owner
Jennifer Gibbons was born and raised in the Omaha, NE/Council Bluffs, IA area and attended Lewis Central High School in Council Bluffs. Jennifer moved to Lincoln, NE to attend The University of Nebraska to complete her pre-requisites for RN/BSN school. She continued with her education by commuting from Lincoln to Omaha where she attended nursing school at Clarkson College. Jennifer graduated with her RN/BSN in December of 1999.
Since graduating, Jennifer made Lincoln her home and worked as a charge nurse in the Progressive Care Units at both St. Elizabeth Hospital and BryanLGH West Hospital and the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at BryanLGH West Hospital. In 2001, Jennifer began a medical staffing company called Elite Professionals Healthcare Staffing. Elite staffing sent RNs on 13-week assignments to both St. Elizabeth Hospital and BryanLGH West and East Hospitals to cover units that were in need of staff members.
In October 2003 Jennifer began work on the opening of Elite Professionals Home Care Company. Jennifer had worked home health in 2000-2001 and developed a passion for assisting persons in remaining in their home environments, despite the health issues they were facing. In May of 2004 Elite Professionals Home Care Company passed licensure through the State of Nebraska DHHS as a licensed home care agency. Elite Professionals blossomed as a Medicare/Medicaid certified, State of Nebraska licensed home care agency. Elite Professionals began providing homemaker, bath aide, medication aide, licensed practical nursing, registered nursing services, as well as physical, occupational, and speech therapy to the Lincoln, NE population and in many surrounding communities.
Between 2011-2012 Elite Professionals Home Care Company began receiving multiple patient referrals in the Omaha, NE metro area. Jennifer then made the decision to purchase an Omaha-based non-medical home care agency in order to strengthen Elite Professionals Home Care Company’s presence in Omaha. Elite Professionals began its venture in the Omaha area in January of 2013.
Jennifer is passionate about keeping persons in their home environment where they desire to stay. She has began multiple programs within the Elite Professionals Home Care Company in order to make staying at home, even with handicaps and illnesses, the most affordable and the highest quality healthcare choice available.
Jennifer is married and has three beautiful daughters that bless her and her husband’s life every single day. She enjoys spending time in the great outdoors camping with her family and friends. Jennifer also spends her time dedicated to supporting the cure for cancer through donations attending multiple events in support of current and future cancer research and cancer victims.
Jennifer supports the Nebraska chapter of NAHCHA (Nebraska Association of Home and Community Health Agencies) and is active in advocating politically for community members to continue to be able to receive the highest quality of medical care.
Jessica has worked for Elite since 2005. She is an RN, Assistant DON, and Branch Administrator for Elite. Jess oversees all clinical aspects of the Lincoln, Omaha, and Fremont areas. Jessica has 4 children, a husband, and a sweet dog Trudy. She enjoys spending time with family, Sprint car races, and white water rafting! Jess loves home care and being able to assist all clients of all ages in remaining in their homes through disabilities and medical setbacks.
Lisa Cole started with Elite Professionals Home Care Company in January of 2013, and was hired on as the first Case Manager in Omaha. Lisa has always had a passion for helping other people, which lead Lisa to pursue a career in nursing. She attended the College of St. Mary in Omaha, Nebraska, where she obtained her CNA license in 2002 as an Alzheimer Care Specialist. Lisa provided treatment to patients during her nursing clinicals in Pediatric Care. She then decided to partner with Children’s Hospital in Omaha, as a CNA and Care Partner in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. Once she completed her degree and became an RN in 2004, she continued her education and became Chemotherapy Certified. She then continued onto be an overnight Charge Nurse with sub-acute vent-trach pediatric patients at Ambassador Health in Omaha, for five years. Hesitant to leave as she had formed bonds with the patients and co-workers, she felt that home health care was her calling. She partnered with various home health agencies as well as an independent private duty nurse before joining Elite Professional Home Care. Her most rewarding aspect is making long-lasting differences in the lives of patients and their families and truly enjoys her role as a patient and family advocate, educator, mentor and friend.
Lisa has been a Field Nurse, Case Manager and moved up to become an RN Case Manager Supervisor with Elite Professionals.
Lisa is married and is a very busy mother with a large family. Lisa is Omaha, Nebraska born and raised and enjoys bowling, nature walks and spending time with good friends and family.
RN Management Supervisor & Clinical Supervisor
Kelli Shankle began her career with Elite Professionals Home Care in 2016 as the RN Management Supervisor & Clinical Supervisor. After graduating from nursing school in Tennessee in 2008, she gained experience as a RN working in ER/trauma for 6+ years.
When Kelli isn’t helping others at Elite Pro, you’ll find her spending time with her husband, kiddos, and cats. Her popularity among felines led to her new role as the leader among her home-based feral cat colony.
RN Nursing Staff Manager
Kate first began her career in the medical field after obtaining her Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification, utilizing it in the long-term care setting. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science, but realized her true passion while caring for in-home patients and her grandparents during the evenings. She continued her evening care while attending a nursing program during the day from Central Community College in Grand Island, NE.
Kate worked toward her nursing degree during this time, working in acute care within a hospital setting as a CNA on a med/surg/ortho floor. While she studied in the day and worked during the evenings, she eventually obtained her Associates Degree in Nursing in 2016 and joined the Bryan Trauma Team on their progressive care floor. Even then, she continued to study to graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
After suffering an unexpected extended injury, she changed paths and relocated to her forever home at Elite Professionals Home Care. She first began as a full-time Admissions Nurse and Case Manager, then moved into her role as Nursing Manager. She’s now loving her leadership role in the nursing field, continuing to interact with patients, as well as manage, teach, and learn from a wonderful team of nurses.
Director of Therapy Services
Jacob “Jake” McMahon was born and raised in Grand Island, Nebraska. He attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney where he received his undergraduate degree in Exercise Science and Psychology. He then went on to get his Doctorate of Occupational Therapy at Creighton University, graduating in 2016.
Jake joined Elite Professionals in October of 2016 as Elite’s first staff therapist. He took on the role of Director of Therapy Services and has worked to grow the Therapy Department in the Omaha, Lincoln and Fremont areas.
Jake is married to his beautiful wife Amber and they have a son named Asher. Jake enjoys golfing and spending time with his family, friends and dog (Willow).
OT, Therapy Department Manager
Zachery “Zach” Greaves was born in Salt Lake City, Utah but has been living in Nebraska since 2000. He attended the University of Nebraska Omaha, where he received his Bachelors in science degree in Exercises Science and double minored in Gerontology and Psychology. He then went on to get his Doctorate of Occupational Therapy at Creighton University.
Zach joined Elite Professionals in October of 2017 after working at Madonna Rehabilitation hospitals as one of two of the LSVT BIG certified occupational therapists in traditional outpatient and the head occupational therapist on the ventilated assist unit (VAU) and long-term care wing. Zach is LSVT BIG certified, Myofascial release trained under the Barnes institute, and Pelvic Floor trained working on his PRPC for pelvic floor therapy. Zach is now the director of therapy services in Lincoln, Omaha, and Fremont areas.
Zach enjoys spending time outdoors, playing golf, softball, sand volleyball, and spending time with his wife and kids, 2 dogs and parrot.
LPNACM Assistant Nursing Staff Manager, Nursing Intake Supervisor
Jackie Kowalewski was born and raised in Lincoln, NE, where she later attended Lincoln Northeast High School—go Rockets! Shortly after, she gained certification as a LPN from Southeast Community College in 2014. Just as her grandma, Jackie’s childhood passion for helping others led to her current career path in nursing.
Jackie’s role at Elite Professionals Home Care began in 2008 as a Home Health Aide. This initial entry as a CNA gave her practical experience within nursing while she continued working toward her license as a practical nurse. She attributes the flexibility that Elite Pro provided her for her ability to manage school, life, and work.
In March of 2014, she graduated as a LPN and transitioned from a Home Health Aide to a full-time Pediatric Nurse in Omaha. After her patient improved thanks to Jackie’s care and attention, she left Elite Pro for a temporary position at a neighboring organization. She returned to Elite Pro sometime in early 2018 as an Assistant Care Manager for a year and a half. After some well-deserved recognition, Jackie eventually was promoted to Assistant Nurse Manager for the Omaha and Lincoln clinics, loving it every step of the way.
When she’s away from work, you’ll find Jackie with her soon to be 21 year old daughter, Jaela, and her granddog Maggie. She loves sitting in silence with a good book, and is always willing to go on a road trip or a simple drive around town.
Stephanie began working for Elite Professionals Home Care in 2004, diversifying her roles in many facets of the business until finding her current role as a Medicaid, VA, and Private Pay Authorizations & Billing specialist. She’s married to a wonderful husband, Jeff, for over 17 years with 4 beautiful, active children. Stephanie considers herself happy to work at Elite Professionals Home Care to provide ongoing services to those in need.
Medical Records Manager
Page originally comes from Holdrege, NE, later moving to Lincoln in 1983. She then obtained a degree in business administration from Southeast Community College. She’s now happily married to her wonderful husband, Shawn, with two sweet boys, Carter and Fisher. They all live with their two big dogs, Josie and Chester, spending much of their free time outdoors whenever possible.
Paige worked at Home Services of Nebraska for 19 years before starting her career at Elite Professionals Home Care in November of 2014. She’s held several positions within the organization, but now finds herself working her dream role as Medical Records Manager.
Gardening and lawn care have become some of Page’s most enjoyable hobbies, maintaining her flowers, mowing the yard, then venturing to camp when the time is right. Page and her family will even spend time on their boat with close friends to enjoy the Idaho summers.
Worstell Director of Marketing Lincoln Branch
Fay was born and raised in Lincoln, NE to Greek immigrant parents. Fay attended Lincoln Southeast High School.
Fay is married and has a fur baby, Roxy that is her world. She enjoys spending time with her husband, parents, sister, nieces and of course, her dog. She loves to travel and has been blessed by getting to travel to Greece to see family multiple times.
Fay worked at Allstate Insurance company for 19 years as an Analyst in the Imaging Department.
Fay started her career as the Lincoln and surrounding areas Marketing Director at Elite Professionals Home Care in October 2020. Fay works very closely with clients, families and medical professionals to ensure that all clients needs are met safely. She loves working with people and feels blessed to have the ability to spend time with individuals and families to educate them through the home care process to offer peace of mind.

Danelle serves Elite Professionals Home Care as the Marketing Director for Lincoln, Fremont, and the surrounding areas. Her background is focused around Clinical Management, allowing her to utilize her education and skills within the realm of public relations.
Her current role at Elite Professionals Home Care unveiled her true passion for helping people from all walks of life. Her knowledge of home health care and effective communication with patients and the public is one of the most gratifying parts of her career.
When Danelle isn’t working, she enjoys running after her 4-year old and 10-month old, then spending time with her incredible husband as time allows. Without her family, Danelle wouldn’t have found the happiness and contentment she feels today. She always enjoys being outside, learning how to garden, or cooking in her kitchen. She’s even participated in 5 half marathons, and has current ambitions to run more when her girls are older.
