Jennifer Gibbons, RN

Administrator

Jennifer Gibbons was born and raised in the Omaha, NE/Council Bluffs, IA area and attended Lewis Central High School in Council Bluffs. Jennifer moved to Lincoln, NE to attend The University of Nebraska to complete her pre-requisites for RN/BSN school. She continued with her education by commuting from Lincoln to Omaha where she attended nursing school at Clarkson College. Jennifer graduated with her RN/BSN in December of 1999.

Since graduating, Jennifer made Lincoln her home and worked as a charge nurse in the Progressive Care Units at both St. Elizabeth Hospital and BryanLGH West Hospital and the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at BryanLGH West Hospital. In 2001, Jennifer began a medical staffing company called Elite Professionals Healthcare Staffing. Elite staffing sent RNs on 13-week assignments to both St. Elizabeth Hospital and BryanLGH West and East Hospitals to cover units that were in need of staff members.

In October 2003 Jennifer began work on the opening of Elite Professionals Home Care Company. Jennifer had worked home health in 2000-2001 and developed a passion for assisting persons in remaining in their home environments, despite the health issues they were facing. In May of 2004 Elite Professionals Home Care Company passed licensure through the State of Nebraska DHHS as a licensed home care agency. Elite Professionals blossomed as a Medicare/Medicaid certified, State of Nebraska licensed home care agency. Elite Professionals began providing homemaker, bath aide, medication aide, licensed practical nursing, registered nursing services, as well as physical, occupational, and speech therapy to the Lincoln, NE population and in many surrounding communities.

Between 2011-2012 Elite Professionals Home Care Company began receiving multiple patient referrals in the Omaha, NE metro area. Jennifer then made the decision to purchase an Omaha-based non-medical home care agency in order to strengthen Elite Professionals Home Care Company’s presence in Omaha. Elite Professionals began its venture in the Omaha area in January of 2013.

Jennifer is passionate about keeping persons in their home environment where they desire to stay. She has began multiple programs within the Elite Professionals Home Care Company in order to make staying at home, even with handicaps and illnesses, the most affordable and the highest quality healthcare choice available.

Jennifer is married and has three beautiful daughters that bless her and her husband’s life every single day. She enjoys spending time in the great outdoors camping with her family and friends. Jennifer also spends her time dedicated to supporting the cure for cancer through donations attending multiple events in support of current and future cancer research and cancer victims.

Jennifer supports the Nebraska chapter of NAHCHA (Nebraska Association of Home and Community Health Agencies) and is active in advocating politically for community members to continue to be able to receive the highest quality of medical care.

Jessica Liebers

RN/Assistant DON

Jessica has worked for Elite since 2005. She is an RN, Assistant DON, and Branch Administrator for Elite. Jess oversees all clinical aspects of the Lincoln, Omaha, and Fremont areas. Jessica has 4 children, a husband, and a sweet dog Trudy. She enjoys spending time with family, Sprint car races, and white water rafting! Jess loves home care and being able to assist all clients of all ages in remaining in their homes through disabilities and medical setbacks.

Jacob McMahon

Clinical Supervisor  

Jacob “Jake” McMahon was born and raised in Grand Island, Nebraska. He attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney where he received his undergraduate degree in Exercise Science and Psychology. He then went on to get his Doctorate of Occupational Therapy at Creighton University, graduating in 2016.

Jake joined Elite Professionals in October of 2016 as Elite’s first staff therapist. He took on the role of Director of Therapy Services and has worked to grow the Therapy Department in the Omaha, Lincoln and Fremont areas.

Jake is married to his beautiful wife Amber and they have a son named Asher. Jake enjoys golfing and spending time with his family, friends and dog (Willow).

Kaitlyn Lickei, RN

Clinical Supervisor

Kaitlyn graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Bryan College of Health Sciences in 2019. While in nursing school, she worked as a Patient Care Technician in the ICU for three years, gaining invaluable hands-on experience in critical care. Upon graduating, she began her nursing career at Bryan West in the adult mental health unit and quickly advanced to charge nursing. Kaitlyn then expanded her experience by pursuing psychiatric travel nursing in Seattle and Lincoln at the Regional Center, gaining valuable insights into diverse patient care settings.

After returning to Bryan for a year, Kaitlyn transitioned to home health care, joining Elite Professionals Home Care in June 2023 as a Clinical Supervisor. Since then, she has furthered her expertise by earning certifications as a Case Manager (CCM) and a Psychiatric Nurse (PMH-BC). While Kaitlyn continues to have a deep passion for psychiatric nursing, she has discovered a new love for home health care and is dedicated to providing exceptional care to patients in their homes.

Outside of work, Kaitlyn enjoys spending time with her husband, their baby boy, their dog, and their four cats. She also loves traveling and has been fortunate enough to visit the UK, Norway, Iceland, Belize, and Mexico, with many more destinations on her bucket list.

Kaitlin Gress, RN

RN Clinical Manager

Kaitlin's medical career began in high school when she earned her Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification. She worked for five years at Madonna Rehab Hospital before transitioning to an Emergency Care Tech role in the Emergency Department at a local hospital, where she spent six years. While working night shifts and raising a family, Kaitlin pursued her Associate Degree in Nursing at Purdue Global University, graduating in 2020. She then worked as a nurse at a pediatric clinic before continuing her education at Chamberlain University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 2021. In 2022, Kaitlin joined Elite Professionals as an RN Case Manager, seeking a role that offered more hands-on patient care. A few years later, in June 2024, she expanded her role to become the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), providing support and guidance to the Elite staff. Outside of her professional commitments, Kaitlin enjoys spending time with her husband and three boys, attending their sports events and family activities, traveling, and going to the lake.

Jackie Kowalewski

LPNACM Assistant Nursing Staff Manager, Nursing Intake Supervisor

Jackie Kowalewski was born and raised in Lincoln, NE, where she later attended Lincoln Northeast High School—go Rockets! Shortly after, she gained certification as a LPN from Southeast Community College in 2014. Just as her grandma, Jackie’s childhood passion for helping others led to her current career path in nursing.
Jackie’s role at Elite Professionals Home Care began in 2008 as a Home Health Aide. This initial entry as a CNA gave her practical experience within nursing while she continued working toward her license as a practical nurse. She attributes the flexibility that Elite Pro provided her for her ability to manage school, life, and work.

In March of 2014, she graduated as a LPN and transitioned from a Home Health Aide to a full-time Pediatric Nurse in Omaha. After her patient improved thanks to Jackie’s care and attention, she left Elite Pro for a temporary position at a neighboring organization. She returned to Elite Pro sometime in early 2018 as an Assistant Care Manager for a year and a half. After some well-deserved recognition, Jackie eventually was promoted to Assistant Nurse Manager for the Omaha and Lincoln clinics, loving it every step of the way.

When she’s away from work, you’ll find Jackie with her soon to be 21 year old daughter, Jaela, and her granddog Maggie. She loves sitting in silence with a good book, and is always willing to go on a road trip or a simple drive around town.

Rhonda Krivda

Field Staff Office Manager

Rhonda Krivda is a dynamic and versatile team member at Elite Professionals, where she has been an integral part of the company for 12 years. Over the years, Rhonda has taken on a variety of expanded roles, making significant contributions to the organization. As the Scheduling/Field Staff Manager, she oversees the patient's and staff’s scheduling needs. She is also responsible for recruitment and retention, dedicating countless hours to interviewing and hiring top candidates for open positions.
In addition to her scheduling and recruitment duties, Rhonda serves as Elite's Diversity and Inclusion Director and plays a key role in the company’s Health Equity program. She handles complaints and incidents, organizes Quality Improvement (QI) data, and ensures all required educational items are completed for staff in these areas.
Before joining Elite, Rhonda managed staff and was in charge of scheduling for another home care company, gaining valuable experience in the industry. Rhonda is deeply passionate about supporting patients and helping them maintain their independence.
Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Rhonda is a Wedding Florist and Coordinator and enjoys being both creative and organized in her personal life.

Stephanie Wiese

Intake Director

Stephanie began working for Elite Professionals Home Care in 2004, diversifying her roles in many facets of the business until finding her current role as a Medicaid, VA, and Private Pay Authorizations & Billing specialist. She’s married to a wonderful husband, Jeff, for over 17 years with 4 beautiful, active children. Stephanie considers herself happy to work at Elite Professionals Home Care to provide ongoing services to those in need.

Paige Christen

Medical Records Manager

Page originally comes from Holdrege, NE, later moving to Lincoln in 1983. She then obtained a degree in business administration from Southeast Community College. She’s now happily married to her wonderful husband, Shawn, with two sweet boys, Carter and Fisher. They all live with their two big dogs, Josie and Chester, spending much of their free time outdoors whenever possible.

Paige worked at Home Services of Nebraska for 19 years before starting her career at Elite Professionals Home Care in November of 2014. She’s held several positions within the organization, but now finds herself working her dream role as Medical Records Manager.

Gardening and lawn care have become some of Page’s most enjoyable hobbies, maintaining her flowers, mowing the yard, then venturing to camp when the time is right. Page and her family will even spend time on their boat with close friends to enjoy the Idaho summers.

Danelle Warner

Marketing Director

Danelle serves Elite Professionals Home Care as the Marketing Director for Lincoln, Fremont, and the surrounding areas. Her background is focused around Clinical Management, allowing her to utilize her education and skills within the realm of public relations.

Her current role at Elite Professionals Home Care unveiled her true passion for helping people from all walks of life. Her knowledge of home health care and effective communication with patients and the public is one of the most gratifying parts of her career.

When Danelle isn’t working, she enjoys running after her 4-year old and 10-month old, then spending time with her incredible husband as time allows. Without her family, Danelle wouldn’t have found the happiness and contentment she feels today. She always enjoys being outside, learning how to garden, or cooking in her kitchen. She’s even participated in 5 half marathons, and has current ambitions to run more when her girls are older.

Joseph Kenney

Director of Marketing Omaha

Joe graduated from Creighton University in 2000. During college he worked as a psychiatric technician at the Richard Young Center for Mental Health. Joe then worked as the Manager of Emergency Services for Region 6 Behavioral Healthcare. In 2016 Joe began working in healthcare operations becoming the program director for a brand new service line, The  Advanced Wound Care Program for CHI. This involved the initial implementation of four outpatient wound care clinics , two Hyperbaric Medicine suites, and a comprehensive inpatient wound consult team. Joe joined Elite Professionals Home Care in November 2024.  Joe is married to wife Cari and they have 2 children, Katelyn and Colin. Joe enjoys golf, fishing, Husker football, and Creighton basketball.

Wes Rice

HR Director

Wes Rice is the HR Manager at Elite Professionals, a role he has held for over 18 years. Starting his career with the company as an office assistant, Wes has steadily worked his way up, expanding his expertise in human resources. In his current role, he supports all local NE Promontory companies with their HR needs, ensuring each organization’s compliance and smooth operations.
Wes has a specialized knowledge in Emergency Preparedness and Disaster Policies and Procedures, ensuring that each company is fully up to date and equipped for any situation. His diverse skill set makes him a key resource in maintaining safety and regulatory standards for the companies he serves.
Outside of work, Wes is passionate about gardening, landscaping, and taking on home improvement projects. He and his husband enjoy spoiling their three dogs and spending quality time with them.
